Zoom Media Acquires Gym TV

LONDON — Zoom Media Corp and its subsidiary, ClubCom International Limited,
a leading provider of digital out-of-home media in Health & Fitness
venues in the UK and around the world, announced today its acquisition
of Gym Screen Media (Gym TV), a 160 venue digital channel located in
high-end fitness centers across the UK, including David Lloyd, Virgin
Active and Total Fitness. Terms of the private transaction were not
disclosed.

The acquisition, Zooms fourth in just over a year in the digital
fitness space worldwide, expands Zooms network of fitness facilities to
over 650 digital venues schwinn 430 elliptical trainer across the UK and over 2,200 across the globe
and makes Zoom the clear worldwide leader in this category. Digital
media is a dramatic game changer and we believe this is the ideal time
to invest in offering our advertisers, as well as our venue partners
more solutions to address their respective challenges, said Franois de

We are thrilled to acquire one of the leading providers of
customised digital media for the UK fitness industry, said Dennis

network with our own will allow us to offer critical mass of the gym
audience for advertisers seeking to reach fitness members across the UK
market.

The deal follows Zooms announcement, just six weeks ago, that it
launched a dedicated national sales force in the UK. The
Gym TV estate will enable Zoomto offer even more targeting capabilities
for our advertisers and will increase our audience to over
20 million monthly impacts, affirmed Jill Lee, Sales Director, Zoom
Media UK.

In addition to the UK, Zoom currently operates the largest fitness
digital media network in both the US and Canada, with almost 2,000
venues between the two countries, and has established itself as the
largest and fastest growing provider of those services through a series
of acquisitions and new partner agreements over the last 12 months.
Zoom raised $30MM from ABS Capital Partners in March 2009, to fund
continued expansion around the world.
